Wow!  What a wonderful way to start the day.  I woke up (way too early) to find that my piece "You've Seen The Butcher" http://nikoblue.deviantart.com/art/You-ve-Seen-The-Butcher-168410188?q=&qo= had been made a Daily Deviation.  I am incredibly flattered and honored by this.  I guess it's just nice to know that one of my ideas has been so well received. Amazingly, the idea for this photograph just popped into my head while driving by the location one day, and I immediately knew what I wanted to do.  It took me forever to get off my ass (just like it always does) and finally get around to it, and the shoot itself was a spur of the moment th

I am very proud to say that one of my photographs won 3rd place in a photo contest for 225 magazine (Baton Rouge's monthly magazine).  My photograph "Kisses" nikoblue.deviantart.com/art/Kisses-80200762 won 3rd in the animal category.  The picture that won the category is amazing.  Go check it out at 225batonrouge.com   Maybe this can bring some of the inspiration I seem unable to muster up.  Lots of ideas, need to get to work.... So a friend told me about this thing going around facebook (which I am proud to say I am not a member of) where you list the top 15 most influential albums in your life.  Seeing as that music is my biggest passion, I could not resist.  This was much harder than I realized, so I decided to do 20.  Now these are not necessarily my top 20 favorite albums, just the ones that have inspired me or had an impact on my life, good or bad.
